Journeys make us who we are.

I started my writing career in radio & television news, where I interviewed the president of the United States, the first man to walk on the moon, and the Corn King of Indiana! Now the people I write about come from my imagination.

Discoveries

When I had established myself as a communications/media consultant, my husband’s job took us to Japan—where we couldn’t speak the language, nor read any of the 3 alphabets. Since I didn’t have a work visa, my identity morphed into a Student of Asia. Nothing would be normal to me for the next 5 years. But that’s the thing about journeys…they’re never normal. They are ripe with opportunities for discovery.
